Executive Committee
The Officers plus one Director-at-Large, will constitute the Executive Committee. The Director-at-large will be elected in the same manner as the officers. The Executive Committee will have the responsibility and authority to carry out appropriate Board of Director’s actions in the interim between meetings.The Chairperson of the Board of Directors, will chair the Executive Committee.
Elections Committee
Each year the Chairman shall appoint an Elections Committee of at least three (3) members.The Elections Committee will be charged with proactively striving to obtain qualified candidates, and informing candidates of a Director’s responsibilities. The ballot form is to specify the exact number to be elected, and the date on which it is to be returned to the Elections Committee Chairperson. Ballot forms must be submitted to the membership at least thirty (30) days prior to the Annual Meeting, and must be returned to the Chairperson of the Elections Committee at least seven (7) days prior to the Annual Meeting. Ballots received after the deadline will be void.
Membership Committee: New members, meeting refreshments, gifts
Legal Committee: Updating bylaws and policies
Funding Committee: Grants, local foundations, other funding sources
Outreach: Watershed education for the public (residents, students, visitors)
Websites: Maintenance and updates, domain registration
Public Relations: Promotion of OCWC
Strategic Planning: Long term planning for OCWC, Business Plan
