"Call of the Canyon"...
JOIN OUR COUNCIL

Residents of the Canyon, Sedona, and Coconino County – and any who share an interest in Oak Creek Canyon – we are a growing organization of people who care about Oak Creek Canyon and the integrity of its unique waters, Oak Creek and the West Fork.

Leave No Trace poster from Keep Oak Creek Canyon BeautifulOak Creek Watershed Council meets 6 times a year... every second week of every second month for a morning. You will rub shoulders with representatives from every level of government, business groups, companies, universities, home owner associations and other private citizens. We are a unique who's who.

We have just completed a grant project in which we built the first roadside public restrooms at Indian Gardens, and have been awarded a second grant to expand our Keep Oak Creek Canyon Beautiful program as well as develop a Trailhead Ambassador program with Sedona high school students. We are in the process of applying for a third grant involving improving the water quality of Oak Creek clear down to the Verde River.

If you have time on your hands, love Oak Creek Canyon, and want to help protect its environment, contact us today and join us for one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. We will even provide you with the training to become a Master Watershed Steward. So, drop a note to me at barry@oakcreekwatershed.org, and I will contact you with further information.

Barry Allan, Co-Chairman (Administrative)
